On 3 September 2020 at the Cité Fertile in Pantin, GSE Intégration came second in Category 5 of the innovation competition “individual dwellings, insulating roofing with energy production”, proposed in conjunction with the sponsoring Landlord: Maine et Loire Habitat.
GSE Intégration has been committed to an eco-friendly approach since its creation more than ten years ago. The various products are developed, produced and assembled in France or the neighbouring countries. Thus, by developing the Made in France, we optimise the carbon balance of products and reduce our carbon footprint in general.
At the end of 2020, GSE Intégration became a member of BIPV Nederland and a pending member of Holland Solar. These two memberships will allow the company to take part in the structuring and development of the photovoltaic sector. In addition, we are advocating our position of European leader of integration systems for photovoltaic panels and our desire to support the Netherlands market more and more.
New houses should produce 31% less carbon dioxide than today according to the plans drawn up at the end of January.
Although BPIV applies more specifically to new builds, it can adapt perfectly to existing constructions. Several projects have already seen the light of day, for example in the region of GOES in the Netherlands. The large project of 194 sustainable houses, led by Beveland Wonen, Bouwbedrijf Joziasse and Switch Elektro, commenced in September 2020 and will be completed fully by Summer 2021.
2020 is becoming the best solar equipment year in Belgium with 1 GWp installed. Belgian photovoltaic installations are reaching accumulated installed power of 6 GWp, which represents the power of six nuclear reactors according to statistics from APERe (Association for the Promotion of Renewable Energies). France has connected an additional 973 MW.
