Switzerland wishes to extend the photovoltaic with a quota of CHF 46 million

12,470 individual houses and small buildings were equipped in 2019 with a photovoltaic installation with an average power of 11 kWp.

The considerable 137 MWp power of the residential market, where the aesthetics give roof-integrated systems the advantage, confirms Switzerland as one country with very favourable environments for developing BIPV.

Compared with the same period last year, the first three months of 202 were marked by strong growth in fitting or announcing photovoltaic installations. This particular measure is possible thanks to this fund having good liquidity, thereby stabilising the development of renewable energies from Summer 2020 onwards and giving it new impetus in 2021.
